Lowell Community Charter Public School is a K-8 school and our mission is to graduate creative, confident and independent thinkers, global citizens and leaders who give back to their community. We will provide a comprehensive education giving students the knowledge, skills and ways of thinking that ensure their success in high school and preparation for the opportunity to go on to college. We expect our students to strive for excellence in academic achievement and personal conduct within a joyful, supportive culture. The diversity within our students, staff, families and community and the many nations from which we come is a source of strength and an opportunity for learning.

Letter from Head of School

Lowell Community Charter Public School was founded in 2000 by a group of concerned parents and community leaders. We continue to represent the community of Lowell and the diverse population of our city. Our key values of Excellence, Leadership and Achievement drive every day of our year. We are excited to see student leaders developing, to watch our students growing in confidence, in skill and in knowledge. Our program is holistic and is focused on meeting the individual needs of a very diverse set of students. One of the amazing features of our school is the inclusion of all children in core programs; it creates a very special community.
We are building partnerships as we expand back to a K1 – grade 8 school over the next two years.

We are building a community of volunteers to support our work, a network of friends who celebrate diversity and want to be part of our exciting school.  We need mentors, fundraisers, classroom support and board members. If you want to give back in ways that really make a difference in a child’s life, we would love to hear from you.

Welcome to LCCPS!
Kathy Egmont, Head of School
The Friends of LCCPS held their 4th Annual Friends of LCCPS Golf Tournament on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 and it was a huge success, raising just over $26,000 for our new 4 year old kindergarten classes. A huge thank you to our GOLD SPONSOR: Enterprise Bank and our BRONZE SPONSORS: Mill No. 5, Carlos del Rio, M.D.. Christine Lasala, GM Insurance, Lowell Sun Charities, and Sage Bank.

None of this would be possible if it weren't for our amazing Golf Committee Co-Chairs Glenn Mello and Brian Campbell, and Honorary Co-Chair Steve Bourret, as well as the whole committee: Cathy Burdt, Lindsay Casavant, Richard Chavez, Efrin Cotto, Kathy Egmont, Vyrik Eng, Adam Hogue, Hung Mai, Elkin Montoya and Trent Ramsey, as well as all of the golfers, our student speakers and volunteers. THANK YOU FROM LCCPS!
