Lowell Community Charter Public School is officially part of the Ecumenical Athletic Association. The league was originated in 1968. "The purpose of the EAA is to develop an athletic program for young men and women, which encourages good sportsmanship and promotes academic achievement and school spirit. With the assistance of administrators, coaches, and advisors, the League also works to establish strong relationship in the Greater Lowell community."

"The Ecumenical Athletic Association's interscholastic athletic program must reflect the athletics is an integral part of the educational program of each school member school. It is dedicated to the fostering of sportsmanship, as well as the physical, emotional, and ethical development of the student in a competitive situation."
